It’s launch day, and I’m excited to share it with you.

Thriving After Sixty is available from today. It’s a book about the years ahead and about how much of them is still yours to shape.

Why I wrote it

Somewhere along the way, we were handed a quiet idea that after sixty, life is mostly about slowing down. I’ve never believed that. Slowing down in some ways, sure. But there’s a lot of life left to enjoy, learn from, and look forward to.

I wanted to write the book I’d want to read myself: honest, warm and free of the jargon that makes health advice feel like homework.

What’s inside

The book brings together the things that make the biggest difference to how we feel as we get older:

  • Looking after your mind, and why staying curious is one of the best things you can do for it
  • Moving your body in ways that feel good and fit real life
  • Eating well, with simple everyday foods rather than complicated rules
  • Never stopping learning, because a growing mind keeps life interesting at any age

Nothing in it is complicated. It’s about small, steady choices that add up.

Who it’s for

If you’re sixty or over, or approaching it, this is for you. It’s also for anyone who wants to help a parent, partner, or friend enjoy their later years with energy and confidence.

If you enjoy it, I’d be so grateful if you left a short review. It helps other readers find the book, and it means more than you might think.

Here’s to the years ahead, and to thriving in them.
